| Experience and Qualifications |
Jay has a BA from MICA in Interior Design. He is a 'Certified Interior Designer' and has passed the rigorous two day exam administered by NCIDQ, that qualifies Interior Designers to be licensed or certified in any state of the US. About 10 percent of practicing Designers have taken and passed this test. Jays career has taken him from simple room design, to whole house, preconstruction and renovation planning,"really" custom kitchens, and commercial office, retail and restaurant design. Jay has won several Maryland Home Builders awards as well as ASID Marylands annual residential award. He has been published in; Baltimore Magazine, Chesapeake Home, Home and Design Magazine, House Beautiful, The Baltimore Sun and The Sun Magazine and The Baltimore Business Journal. He has also been interviewed on TV, as well as appearing on HGTVs "Designers Challenge" |
